Celebrating a Decade of Impact

Join us for an inspiring afternoon as we commemorate 10 years of empowering women and girls through education, leadership, and health equity across Washington State and Nigeria. This special event will highlight the remarkable voices and stories of those who have been part of our journey since 2015. Together, we’ll honor trailblazers, changemakers, and future leaders who are driving innovation, championing equity, and building a more connected and vibrant future.

Keynote Speakers

  • Dr. Angela Jones, J.D.

    Dr. Angela Jones, J.D. is an educator, storyteller, author, and community leader with over 30 years of experience driving systemic change in Washington State. She co-founded the Black Future Co-op Fund to advance Black generational wealth, health, and well-being, and leads U.S. Charters and the Washington State Initiative teams at the Gates Foundation. Formerly CEO of Washington STEM, she has held leadership roles in education and community systems across the state. Dr. Jones holds degrees from Gonzaga University, Eastern Washington University, and Washington State University, and serves on several nonprofit boards. A passionate advocate for equity, she is also the creator of The Queen Code brand, a mother of three, a proud “Glam-ma” of five, and an active community member near Seattle.

  • Dr. Ben Danielson

    Dr. Ben Danielson is a pediatrician, clinical professor, and community advocate known for his lifelong commitment to health equity and social justice. Formerly the Medical Director of the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic in Seattle, he has championed accessible, culturally responsive healthcare for underserved communities. Dr. Danielson serves as a Clinical Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine and leads initiatives addressing systemic racism in health and community systems. He also chairs and supports numerous nonprofits focused on children’s health, education, and community wellbeing. Recognized for his compassionate leadership, Dr. Danielson continues to inspire efforts toward a more equitable society.
