This full-day experience will bring together a diverse group of individuals—health professionals, mental health providers, policy leaders, researchers, educators, students, and community advocates.

The event is a movement toward greater equity and understanding in the treatment and support of those living with sickle cell disease. Attendees will engage in powerful conversations about emergency room protocols, trauma and chronic pain, gene therapy, and the lived experiences of youth and families.

A blood drive, hosted in partnership with the American Red Cross, will run throughout the day, emphasizing the critical need for blood donations within this community.
