Women on the Rise
Women on the Rise brings women in leadership, entrepreneurs, and young women professionals together to network, build relationships, share stories, and educate one another.
WOTR began as a conference with hundreds of women in attendance. Over the past year, the Foundation pivoted WOTR to develop into an innovative educational opportunity. We noticed many women experiencing adversity within their businesses due to the pandemic with many women pushed into entrepreneurship after losing their job. This led the Foundation to step in, offering a series of masterclass-style educational opportunities.
About the Program
The vision of WOTR centers on providing visibility to women in power, allowing young women to see themselves represented in positions across all sectors and industries from various backgrounds.
WOTR spreads wisdom and hope by pairing women-owned businesses with women in college through the College Ambassador Program. Through this multigenerational mentorship program, the women improve or create strategic communications plans and follow through to execute them. This partnership cultivated in our intensive program helps elevate and grow the organizations we work with while developing the next generation of professional communications leaders.
